Intellectus Insurance Brokers
The past 15 years has seen a rapid decline in the face-to-face service offered to businesses to help them fulfil their insurance requirements.
Indeed, in certain circumstances, some insurers and brokers alike have actually deemed this service unnecessary.
This has left many clients with no alternative but to arrange cover either online, or over the phone. However, these types of offering leave you heavily reliant on your personal knowledge and understanding of exactly what cover you require and when, which can be daunting, especially if you are establishing your first business.

We understand the frustration that can arise from this lack of personal service, which is why we formed Intellectus Insurance Brokers Ltd.
At Intellectus (Latin for understanding), we pride ourselves on understanding our clients and their business, as well as comprehending the insurance needs and requirements of both.
We are extremely excited about this venture, and most of this excitement comes from looking forward to working with you, whether you are a new contact or a former client.
Since starting out in the Insurance Industry in 1993, I have worked in both broker and direct insurer markets, from which I have gained invaluable experience in how to best look after and protect my clients’ assets.
Over the years, I have become increasingly frustrated with the manner in which insurers, and brokers alike, have continued to move away from the ‘personal’ service that so many businesses still need. In a nutshell, how can a broker or insurer truly understand a client’s needs and requirements unless they have first-hand experience of your business?
I firmly believe that the face-to-face service that we offer our new and existing clients remains the optimum way forward in understanding their needs, and I look forward to continuing to work with them in this manner.
With almost 30 years’ experience, and having worked for both brokers and insurers, I feel that my understanding and knowledge has put me in a powerful position to assist both new and former clients.
Recent years have certainly borne witness to a decline in the face-to-face service offering within the insurance industry, despite there being a concurrent increase in client needs and expectations. However, I truly believe that the provision of this service is the optimum way forward for many people.
Meeting my clients and discussing their needs, as well as understanding the company and the individuals, remains the best way to ensure we provide the cover that best suits their requirements
